If you have read the book The Purpose-Driven Life by Rev. Rick Warren, you have probably written a sort of like this. These have been the words that God has etched in my heart. And everytime I would get sidetracked, I would just get back to this life-purpose statement and remind myself of my mission. God's mission is my mission.

My life purpose is to make and keep Jesus Christ in the center of my life. I live to worship Him and depend on Him with whatever I do. I believe that God created me to bring Him glory. I am to live to reflect Jesus' works in my life. I am made to become like Him. Without Christ, I am nothing. I know the importance and essence of Jesus in my life and so I need to share His grace with others. I am molded to become God's servant and I can able to do it when I start serving others and do things in humility. It is my responsibility to encourage and serve my brothers and sisters in Christ. I am a member of God's family and I need to act like one.

"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-- His good, pleasing and perfect will." - Romans 12:2 I know that God's will in my life is the best for me and so I choose to take His path. I am designed to glorify Him through everything that I do. I intend myself to live a life of a good Christian. "For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain." - Philippians 1:21 Since God is my Creator, Jesus is my Savior and Lord, and the Holy Spirit is my Guide, may I use my life not for selfish ambitions but for God's pleasure only. That is worship is all about. I am to dedicate my entire life-- including all in it such as my time and money-- for God's pleasure.

My success does not depend on how much possessions and achievements I have been given (though they come from God). To love God with all of me and to serve my neighbor -- the Greatest Commandments-- what matter most in my life. It may be God's will for me to become a businesswoman in the future but still I am shaped to glorify God. I am shaped for the Great Commission. I am to become an insrument of God's love to other people. My life purpose is to draw people closer to Christ through sharing the Good News and become a consistent doer of the Word -- a living testimony for those in the dark.

Fulfilling my life purpose is indeed a challenging thing to do; but I firmly stand on God's words and promises. And, I have the integrity to boast that: I can do everything through Him who gives me strength." - Philippians 4:13 May God's will be done in my life.
